Brian Sabo has been working in the field of recovery in a professional capacity since 2017, though he has been in recovery for over a decade. Brian has successfully established multiple recovery centers in the Lehigh Valley. He joins the team as a distinguished community pillar, advocating for recovery and those seeking to fulfill a life not defined by substance use disorders and Mental Health but rather by connection and quality.
In this new role, he will focus on collaborating with other professionals to assist families to locate resources, including referrals for inpatient and outpatient treatments, and community education. His experience also includes mentoring individuals in various stages of recovery and those seeking to work in the recovery field. A major focus of Brian’s work has been expanding numerous recovery support programs.
Brian was the recipient of the PCB Board’s 2022 Professional of the year award and the 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award presented by Northampton County. He sits on numerous Opioid Task Forces in the Lehigh Valley and is on the PRO-A steering committee.
Prior to working in the Recovery field, Brian was a small business owner of a successful concrete company and, before that, a police officer in the Lehigh Valley.
